Longing Poems

Soul savored in wealth bestowing images
plus instances, beseeching recalls throughout 
the happenings of first expended journeys,
          ~~solely me and

Scream if you must

But know it is only the two of us in this emptiness 

And if my words lack trust 

Understand humanity is marked by ignorance.

Am

Just hold me in your arms,

And never let me go;

I’ve been craving for your love,

And I ask for nothing more.

I’ve been longing for restful calmness

That

Play me for keeps 
Play me for dead
Anything you want
I don't care
You're in my head
I see you when I sleep
But

I am an anxious paranoid

My fear overwhelms my mind

My heart is filled with pain,

And I hear an inner voice

It is in my head and it

They say, do not look at the sun,

But I will,

Yes, they say, yet I long for that moment

When its light will fall upon me!

I see

A cup of cold coffee

tastes like sunset I wish it stayed,

as warm as your embrace.

kite firm in hand no sun no wind no string

       spiritually bankrupt

              dark thoughts stir up a

a hollow reflection in the window

       you thought no one was looking

              eyes lost in the distance

with sterling pen in hand and splintered heart

       sit and wait day after day

              beneath the old

I dream
