Grew up too fast

The stoplights twist and sway in the wind as he waits for them to change. In the air i feel a little chill and the thickness caused by rage. A little child inside him longing for escape he never had a childhood he dreams he was better raised. A lot of pain he's seen his eyes grew quickly old. He tends to wounds from battles his bones ache from the cold. He grew up faster than most and most would surely agree that he was robbed of being a child and seen more as a young one than most adults have yet to see. His dreams are filled with chaos from which he cannot flee. He wants to run from his imprisonment he wishes he could scream. Now he's all grown up and has a different life he's made an oath that his children will never share his strife. He blames no-one at all for the way that he was raised instead he uses it as a lesson and goes on as strong and brave.
