It is no secret that China has numerous, one-of-a-kind, attention-grabbing attractions; take the Guilin and Lijiang River National Park, for example. This national park is located in southeastern China and has become well-known for its unique-looking hills, cylinders, limestone cones, karsts, etc. that have colorful names, like ‘Dragon Head’ and ‘Elephant Trunk,’ which have inspired many well-known Chinese artists and poets. This park has been submitted by the National Commission of the People's Republic of China for UNESCO inclusion.

A Painting Coming to Life

A lot of people view the entire scenery of this park by taking a thirty mile boat trip along the Lijiang River, Guilin to Yangshuo. Many people have referred to this park as a watercolor painting coming to life. It is a dreamy park that brings memories back to when times used to be simpler. Every year, this park is visited by thousands from around the globe.

The Guilin and Lijiang River National Park provides beautiful maze of karst peaks, and at each bend, they provide a new surprise. People come to this area of China for the bamboo rafting and Li River cruise down the Yulong River, but beyond the water, there is a lot more to explore on land. There are many things to do here, like biking or hiking. It’s the ideal park if you like to take amazing photos, as everywhere you turn, you’ll find a magnificent view awaiting to be captured.

Guilin and Lijiang River National Park is often included in the lists of the must-see parks, of various sources. Ever since it was established, it has caused worldwide sensation, which is not a shocker when one takes a peek at everything that it has to offer.
