I began creating short stories and poetry in my early teens. My mom always said I walked in my grandmother’s shoes as she could tell the tallest tales and whip up a poem in a moment’s notice. Then again, I say that regarding my hobby, photography. I love taking pictures: birds, plants, trees, and in general, things aroune me.

I belong to a dance group that dances for exercise and fun and often put on shows for the elderly confined in nursing homes.

Writing has been a passion of mine since I was a small child. Always one with an imagination, my mom encouraged me to put my imagination on paper. Once I reached my 13th birthday, I started following her advice. Short stories, poems began finding their ways on bits of paper. Now, my computer stores my imagination. Through the years, I've won several awards for my work.

Currently, I am a caregiver for an Alzheimer's patient who keeps me on my toes.
