Break Free from Melancholy
The symbolic nature of heart and hand
Love lost grief of pain that may never end
A life of anguish distress of such sorrow
Here are falling tears
As my heart-beats I’m hollow
Digging deep of empty dirt
An omitted warren burrow.
Above surface a floral garden burst’s into life
Being of time like a widowed wife
Still mourning
The spring sunlight shine of light
Become a married landscaper of my own garden
No longer a life sentence
Instead a gentle pardon.
